Oakley Hockey Junior Training Camps

Posted

As you’ve probably all aware now, Oakley Hockey runs junior training camps in the school holidays. These camps are aimed towards 7-15 year olds, covering all ranges of abilities from complete beginners to experienced club/county players. The initial camp in the spring half term was a great success, with great fun had by all, which is the most important thing when working with youngsters. Getting them to enjoy the sport.

The format for the 2 day camp is lots of different skill specific drills in the morning, designed to cover all the basics of hockey whilst also offering variation to keep the interest gauge for even the youngest players. In the afternoon the training turns to more game/match based sessions where we can work on the basics that we have learn through the morning.

All our Coaches are fully DBS checked and majority are also full time teachers, so heavily experienced to deal with young kids in a safe environment. The courses are open to both outfield players as well as goalkeepers. If you have any questions or would like to register for the course please email: admin@oakleyhockey.co.uk

Next Junior Training Camp:

Dates: 21st & 22nd August

Cost: £40/day or £75 for 2 days

Locations: Bedford Sports & Hockey Centre

Ages: 7-15 (all abilities) both boys & girls

There will be an Oakley Hockey Shop open on site for both days where Oakley Hockey equipment will be available at discounted event prices.
